These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of reitmodeling.com (the “Site”) and any course or service (“Services”) provided through it. By using the Site or registering for any Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About this Site
1.1 The Site provides online courses, video tutorials, written materials, Excel exercises, and related resources on financial modeling and finance. Some content is publicly available; access to the full course requires registration and payment.
1.2 References to “we”, “us”, or “REIT Modeling” refer to the operator of this Site. Contact: info@reitmodeling.com.
1.3 We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version always governs. Continuing to use the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Registration and account access
2.1 To access paid course content, you must register an account, provide accurate information, and pay the applicable fee.
2.2 You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact info@reitmodeling.com immediately.
2.3 Each registration is for one person’s individual use. You may not share your login credentials, give others access to your account, or redistribute course materials. We reserve the right to terminate any account that breaches this clause.
2.4 We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
3. Pricing, payment, and access
3.1 Course pricing is shown on the Site at the time of purchase. We currently offer two tiers:
- Basic: course access for 12 months from the date of purchase.
- Pro: lifetime course access, plus a verifiable Certificate of Completion (issued via a third-party credentialing service) and a LinkedIn add-to-profile credential.
Prices are inclusive of any applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
3.2 Payment is taken at the time of purchase via our payment processor (Stripe or PayPal, depending on the option selected). We do not store payment card details.
3.3 Access begins immediately upon successful payment. Basic-tier access expires automatically 12 months after purchase, with no further charge and no automatic renewal.
4. Refund policy
4.1 You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 25% of the course content. To request a refund, email info@reitmodeling.com from the address registered with your account.
4.2 If you have completed more than 25% of the course (as measured by the Site’s progress tracking), refunds are at our discretion.
4.3 Chargeback or fraud-related refund claims must be submitted within 180 days of purchase via your card issuer. Suspected fraudulent disputes may result in account termination.
5. Intellectual property
5.1 All course content — videos, written materials, Excel files, slides, exam questions, and related assets — is the intellectual property of REIT Modeling and protected by copyright. You receive a limited, non-transferable, personal-use license to access and use the content while your subscription is active.
5.2 You may not copy, redistribute, modify, sell, or publicly display any part of the course content without our prior written consent.
5.3 If you are interested in licensing the course for institutional use (university programs, corporate training, etc.), contact info@reitmodeling.com.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Access the Site through automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) without our consent
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, server, or other users’ accounts
- Use the Site to distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Misrepresent yourself or impersonate another person
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
7. Service availability
7.1 We aim for continuous availability but make no guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance.
7.2 If you encounter a fault, email info@reitmodeling.com and we will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
8.1 The course content is for educational purposes only. It does not constitute investment, tax, legal, or financial advice. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including job placement, exam pass, or career advancement.
8.2 Any decisions you make based on course content are your responsibility. We accept no liability for losses arising from your application of the material.
8.3 We do not provide accreditation toward any professional qualification (CFA, FMVA, etc.). The REIT Modeling Certificate of Completion (Pro tier) is a course-completion credential issued by us; it is not a regulated qualification.
8.4 To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8.5 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Data protection
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
10. Changes to the Service
We may modify, add, or remove features of the Service at any time without prior notice. If we make material changes that adversely affect access to a course you have purchased, we will notify you and offer a pro-rata refund where appropriate.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
